How Muerta and Io perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Muerta and Io win 51.17% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,968 matches.
Trying to burst down a Muerta during Pierce the Veil is a nightmare when she's Tethered to an Io. She's already immune to physical damage, and Io's Overcharge provides the massive attack speed she needs to maximize her ultimate's bonus magic damage. The added survivability from Tether's shared healing and damage reduction makes her incredibly resilient to the magic burst enemies are forced to rely on. This duo isn't stuck in one place, either. With Relocate, Io can bring a fully charged Muerta onto any target on the map, securing kills that would otherwise be impossible and creating a huge mid-game advantage that's difficult to play against.
