Why this works

Facing this pair in a teamfight is a war of attrition. Both Necrophos and Razor excel at punishing anyone who commits to a fight for too long. Razor's Static Link drains a target’s physical damage, making them less of a threat while he hits harder. Necrophos adds to the pressure with Heartstopper Aura and can secure the kill with Reaper's Scythe. Death Pulse provides sustain for them both, creating a durable wall. The problem is that they both do a similar job. Neither hero provides the hard lockdown the other needs to guarantee their spells connect on mobile enemies.

This duo wants to force slow, grinding fights where their sustain and drain can overwhelm the enemy.
