Shadow Fiend + Sniper

Why this works

Putting both Shadow Fiend and Sniper on one team creates a difficult puzzle for your other three players. The core issue is that both heroes do a similar job: they are fragile, farm-dependent damage dealers who need space and protection to function. Shadow Fiend needs setup to land his spells effectively, and Sniper needs a frontline to hit safely from range. Neither hero provides the lockdown or initiation that the other needs to feel secure, often leaving the team composition with significant gaps like a lack of stuns and durability.

Throughout the game, this composition is vulnerable against teams that can close the distance. An enemy draft with good initiation can run over your lanes and prevent either hero from hitting their timings. While the pair can output a tremendous amount of damage if left alone, they struggle to create those ideal situations for themselves. Success often hinges on the other heroes providing a rock-solid frontline and controlling the enemy, which is a heavy burden to place on your supports and offlaner from the very start of the game.
