Nyx Assassin + Void Spirit

Why this works

Hunting for a solo pickoff becomes a bit easier with this pairing. Void Spirit can set up a gank with Aether Remnant, giving Nyx Assassin a clear target for his Impale. Alternatively, Nyx can scout ahead with Vendetta, find an isolated hero, and open with his own stun. Void Spirit can then close the distance instantly with Astral Step to add his damage and secure the kill. The combined burst from both heroes can be effective against squishier targets, but it relies on finding enemies who are caught alone and out of position.

The game plan is to pressure the map and make opponents afraid to farm. If Nyx Assassin and Void Spirit get a few early kills, they can create space for their own cores. However, the duo's impact can feel a little redundant. Both are looking for similar pickoff opportunities, and their effectiveness wanes if the other team groups up early. When forced into five-on-five teamfights, their lack of sustained damage or large area-of-effect spells can become a problem, forcing them to rely on catching someone before the fight truly begins.
