Why this works
Getting caught by Winter's Curse is a lot more dangerous when there's a Nyx Assassin lurking. The ultimate holds a hero in place, giving Nyx a clear window to land Impale and his full burst combo without the target being able to react. This setup helps him connect his stun reliably on a key hero. Later in the game, Winter Wyvern can use Cold Embrace to save Nyx after he dives deep for a kill.
