Nyx Assassin + Zeus

Why this works

Hunting for a kill on a lone hero becomes a simple two-step process. Nyx Assassin can find a target with Vendetta, apply a long stun with Impale, and drain their mana. This creates a perfect window for Zeus to layer on his own burst damage from a safe distance, often securing a kill before the target can even react. Alternatively, a global Thundergod's Wrath from Zeus can reveal a vulnerable enemy farming in the jungle, giving Nyx the exact information he needs to set up a gank. The combination of scouting, lockdown, and massive magic damage from two different heroes is overwhelming for most single targets.

This constant threat forces the enemy team to play defensively from the mid-game onward. They can no longer farm lanes or their jungle alone without risking instant death. The typical response is to group up and buy constant detection, which slows their own farm and surrenders map control. For Nyx and Zeus, the goal is to keep the pressure on, punishing any hero that steps out of position. This duo excels at turning the enemy's side of the map into a death trap, allowing their own team to build a lead through superior map control.
