Ogre Magi + Phantom Lancer

Why this works

Casting Bloodlust on Phantom Lancer accelerates his entire game plan. The bonus attack speed helps him generate illusions from Juxtapose much more quickly, letting him farm faster and become a threat sooner than usual. This makes his timings harder for the enemy to predict. Ogre Magi can also lock a target down with Fireblast and Ignite, giving Phantom Lancer an easy kill to start a snowball. The movement speed boost from the buff is also useful, helping a hero who already has a gap closer to stick on targets or escape trouble.

This accelerated farm can create pressure, allowing the team to secure objectives or control the map earlier. The synergy isn't overwhelming, however, as it mostly helps Phantom Lancer do what he already wants to do, but a bit faster. Opponents will try to counter this by either picking heroes with strong area-of-effect damage to clear the illusions, or by focusing Ogre Magi first in fights. Taking Ogre out removes a key source of stuns and a durable frontliner, which can leave Phantom Lancer isolated and easier to handle, even if he still has his buff.
