How Omniknight and Tinker perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Omniknight and Tinker win 46.66% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,557 matches.
Choosing both Omniknight and Tinker forces a disjointed game plan that is difficult to execute. Tinker naturally plays far from his team, split-pushing lanes and blinking around the edges of fights. This makes it incredibly difficult for Omniknight to apply his key defensive spells like Heavenly Grace or Guardian Angel when Tinker inevitably gets initiated on. While Omniknight excels at enabling a hero to stand their ground and fight, Tinker's entire playstyle is based on kiting and constant repositioning with Rearm. The result is a core who can't be reliably saved and a support whose most powerful tools often can't reach their most valuable teammate, leaving the entire team feeling disconnected.
