Oracle + Queen of Pain

Why this works

Using False Promise on Queen of Pain can feel a bit awkward. Her entire game plan revolves around blinking in, unloading spells, and blinking out before taking serious return fire. She isn't the type of hero who wants to stand her ground and soak up damage during the ultimate's duration, which is where its power truly lies. While Oracle can certainly keep her alive if she gets caught, his kit is at its best when enabling a core who wants to stay in the thick of the fight. The Fate's Edict disarm also does nothing to boost her magical burst damage.

This leads to teamfights where the two heroes often operate independently. Queen of Pain will be looking for openings from the sides, while Oracle positions in the backline to protect a more durable core. There is rarely a moment where they combine for a truly powerful play. If QoP gets jumped, she is either fast enough to blink away without help, or she is locked down and dies before a save can reliably land. The result is a pairing that doesn't actively hurt the team, but also lacks a clear plan for winning a fight together.
