Phantom Assassin + Razor

Why this works

Creating space for a farming core is the main idea behind this pairing. Razor can be very active in the mid-game, forcing fights and pushing towers with Static Link. This draws enemy attention and gives Phantom Assassin the room she needs to secure her core items without constant pressure. When they do fight together, Razor’s link can drain the damage from a key enemy carry, making it much safer for PA to use Phantom Strike and commit to a kill. Eye of the Storm also reduces the target's armor, directly amplifying the physical burst from Phantom Assassin's crits.

The success of this duo often hinges on Razor’s early game. If he has a good start, he can set a fast tempo that PA can capitalize on once she has an item or two. The goal is to hunt together, with Razor initiating and softening a target for PA to execute. The weakness is a lack of reliable lockdown; mobile heroes can often disengage from Razor and kite Phantom Assassin. If Razor falls behind, he can’t create the necessary pressure, leaving PA vulnerable and delaying the point where the two heroes can effectively combine their strengths.
