How Primal Beast and Storm Spirit perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Primal Beast and Storm Spirit win 43.39% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,805 matches.
Fighting for the same resources across the map often leaves this duo in a weak spot. Both Primal Beast and Storm Spirit are hungry heroes who need a strong start to snowball, and it's difficult for a team to provide enough farm and space for both to hit their timings. This economic tension is made worse by their conflicting playstyles. Storm Spirit excels at picking off lone targets in the back with Ball Lightning, while Primal Beast wants to cause chaos in the frontline with Onslaught and Pulverize. This frequently leads to uncoordinated fights where they initiate on different parts of the enemy team, leaving each other without proper follow-up.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
