How Puck and Winter Wyvern perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Puck and Winter Wyvern win 47.22% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 8,971 matches.
Setting up a kill with Winter's Curse often backfires when Puck is the damage dealer. Puck wants to unload a full combo of Waning Rift and Dream Coil on the main target, but Winter Wyvern's ultimate makes that hero immune to all incoming allied damage. This forces Puck to either hold spells for the duration or waste them on the secondary taunted heroes, nullifying the lockdown's offensive potential. Beyond that major conflict, their general game plans don't align. Puck relies on fast, aggressive initiation and mobility, while Winter Wyvern provides a more defensive, reactive form of control that dictates who your team *cannot* attack.
