Pudge + Sniper

Why this works

Landing a good Meat Hook can give Sniper a perfect target. The hook pulls an enemy into ideal range and stuns them long enough for Sniper to start unloading damage. If Pudge follows up with Dismember, it creates a long, stationary window for Sniper to use his full damage output, often finishing with a quick Assassinate. This provides a simple and direct way to set up a kill on a single hero, which is exactly what Sniper wants.

This combo helps the pair secure pickoffs and control the map by punishing enemies who are out of position. The whole plan, however, relies entirely on Pudge landing that initial hook. If he misses, or if the enemy team is disciplined about standing behind creeps or has saves ready, the play falls apart. Smart opponents will exploit this by either pushing aggressively when Hook is on cooldown or by jumping directly on Sniper, who remains fragile. The duo is good at punishing mistakes but can struggle against coordinated teamfights.
