Pugna + Spectre

Why this works

Haunting a support in the backline often leaves Spectre isolated and vulnerable to being turned on. Pugna completely flips this script. As soon as Spectre commits with her ultimate, Pugna can use Life Drain to pump a huge amount of health into her from the safety of his own team. This powerful, sustained heal makes Spectre incredibly difficult to burst down, allowing her to stay on her target and clean up. Nether Ward further punishes enemies for trying to chain spells on her, and Decrepify can be a clutch save against physical damage.

This strategy comes online the moment Spectre gets Haunt. From that point on, the game plan is for Pugna to position carefully behind his cores, ready to be a long-range battery for his carry. For the opposing team, this presents a dilemma. They must either try to overwhelm Spectre through the massive healing, which is often not feasible, or they have to dive deep into the backline to find and interrupt Pugna. This forces them into awkward positions and splits their focus, creating the exact kind of chaotic fight where Spectre excels.
