How Pugna and Tinker perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Pugna and Tinker win 45.78% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 8,224 matches.
Drafting both Pugna and Tinker often forces your team into a very specific and fragile game plan. Your team's damage output becomes almost entirely magical, which makes it incredibly straightforward for the enemy to itemize against. A single Pipe of Insight or a couple of early Black King Bars can neutralize both heroes at the same time. They are also both very squishy and lack mobility, making them prime targets for any team with good initiation. While Pugna’s Decrepify can amplify Tinker’s damage, it rarely makes up for the fact that you have two cores who share the exact same weaknesses and can't effectively protect each other.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
