Why this works

Farming up for the mid-game often creates a problem for this pair. Both Queen of Pain and Razor are tempo cores who want to do the same job: pressure lanes, take over the enemy jungle, and force objectives. This can lead to them competing for the most valuable farm on the map, slowing one or both down. Their abilities don't offer strong direct synergy either. Queen of Pain provides a slow and burst damage, but lacks a stun to hold a target in place for Razor's Static Link to fully drain an opponent. They're applying pressure, but not always enabling each other.

The result is a lineup that can feel a bit one-dimensional. If they fall behind, they can struggle to crack coordinated defenses, as one hero often has a great game while the other feels starved for resources. For this duo to succeed, they need to divide the map effectively, forcing the enemy team to split up. Without another core who brings hard lockdown, they rely heavily on snowballing from the laning stage to overwhelm opponents before key defensive items come online and stop their aggression.
