Queen of Pain + Sniper

Why this works

Playing the map together can feel disconnected because these heroes operate on different timers. Queen of Pain wants to leverage her Blink to make aggressive plays and hunt for kills as soon as she has her first major item. She creates chaos and wants her team to follow up. Sniper, conversely, is a stationary hero who needs protected space to farm and time to scale into a lategame threat. He can't follow QoP's deep dives, and she offers little in the way of lockdown or protection to help him stand his ground. Their core designs pull the team in two different strategic directions.

This tension comes to a head during the mid-game. The team is often forced to play passively to defend Sniper, which neuters Queen of Pain's tempo-setting strengths, or QoP plays her aggressive style and leaves Sniper exposed. Opponents can exploit this by isolating and picking off the vulnerable Sniper while his team is elsewhere, or by forcing fights when he isn't ready to contribute. The draft relies heavily on the other heroes to provide the control and cohesion that these two cores lack between them.
