Razor + Warlock

Why this works

Pairing Warlock with Razor is often a bet on one big teamfight combo. The idea is that Warlock’s Chaotic Offering provides the perfect setup stun for Razor to walk in and apply Static Link to a high-value enemy. Once the link is draining damage, Fatal Bonds can spread the pain from Razor's Eye of the Storm and the Golem's attacks across the enemy team, creating a huge amount of sustained area damage. Warlock can also use Shadow Word to help keep Razor healthy during the laning stage or mid-fight, allowing him to stand his ground longer.

In practice, this combination is very reliant on that one big ultimate from Warlock. If Chaotic Offering is on cooldown or misses key targets, the fight plan crumbles. Both heroes are fairly slow and lack mobility, making them vulnerable to being kited or split up. An enemy team with strong disengage or BKB-piercing lockdown can easily isolate and burst one of them before the combo ever gets going. The success of this duo often hinges less on their own execution and more on whether the enemy draft lacks the specific tools needed to pull them apart.
