Razor + Windranger

Why this works

Focusing down one enemy hero can be redundant when both Razor and Windranger are on the same team. Static Link and Focus Fire are both powerful single-target abilities, but they compete to do the same job. The core issue is that neither hero provides the other with what they truly need. Windranger's Shackleshot is the only reliable disable between them, and it's conditional. This leaves the pair vulnerable to any team that can save a single ally or simply spread out, making it hard to commit both heroes' damage onto one valuable target.

This overlap creates a predictable game plan. Your team will often lack the stuns and initiation needed to force favorable fights. The enemy can split-push to exploit your poor wave clear or group up and run at you, knowing you have limited ways to control them. While both heroes can become strong, they reach their peaks at similar times and with similar items, effectively competing for farm and fighting for the same role as a semi-carry. This leaves the rest of the draft starved for lockdown and frontline presence, making it difficult to execute a cohesive strategy.
