Shadow Shaman + Silencer

Why this works

Teamfights become incredibly one-sided once both ultimates are online. Global Silence creates a perfect window for Shadow Shaman to walk up to any hero and apply Hex or Shackles without fear of interruption. The disabled enemy is then a sitting duck for Silencer to apply his curses and freely attack with Glaives of Wisdom, stealing intelligence and piling on damage. There's very little an enemy can do against this chain of control; they are silenced by the ultimate, then disabled by Shaman, then potentially silenced again by Last Word.

This dynamic lets the pair dictate the pace of the entire mid-game. They can proactively hunt for kills across the map, forcing the enemy team to play defensively and abandon lanes. A successful pickoff almost always leads to a tower or Roshan, as Shadow Shaman can drop Mass Serpent Ward to secure the objective. The enemy's main hope is to group as five and try to weather the initial silence, or invest heavily in items that can dispel Shaman's lockdown before Silencer's damage becomes overwhelming.
