Timbersaw + Techies

Why this works

Forcing a fight often feels awkward because these two heroes want completely different things. Timbersaw thrives on being a mobile, chaotic frontliner, zipping between trees and staying on top of enemies to apply his sustained damage. He wants the fight to move with him as he chases targets down. Techies, however, excels at controlling specific, static locations with Proximity Mines and setting up burst damage on stationary targets. Timbersaw's aggressive, relocation-heavy style frequently pulls the action away from the very zones Techies has spent time preparing, leaving their most powerful tools unused.

This conflict plays out all game. Timbersaw might find a good initiation, but the ensuing skirmish quickly moves out of range of any prepared traps. The team is effectively split; Timbersaw is deep in enemy lines trying to survive, while Techies is either too far away to help or is forced to use Blast Off! into a disorganized fight for minimal impact. Without a reliable way to hold enemies inside Techies' kill zones or a way to provide the instant burst Timbersaw lacks, the two heroes often end up fighting separate battles instead of a coordinated one.
