Timbersaw + Windranger

Why this works

Controlling the map feels like a constant struggle because these two heroes often demand a lot of farm but don't create kill threat together. Timbersaw excels at diving in and disrupting fights, but he offers no reliable lockdown to hold a target in place for Windranger's Focus Fire. Windranger's own setup with Shackleshot is too conditional to consistently enable Timbersaw's aggression. They end up as two solo heroes fighting near each other rather than a cohesive unit, with neither one providing the control the other needs to secure a kill.

As the game progresses, this lack of synergy becomes a major liability. Timbersaw can create space and be a nuisance, but enemies can often ignore his damage and walk past him to pressure Windranger and the other supports. Without a hard stun from another ally on the team, Windranger struggles to find a safe moment to channel her ultimate on a key target. The opposing team can split their focus, kiting the Timbersaw while bursting his backline, which makes taking teamfights or objectives incredibly difficult.
