Silencer + Zeus

Why this works

Pairing these two seems like it’s all about the Global Silence into Thundergod’s Wrath combo, but the real synergy is more subtle. Zeus constantly spams low-cooldown spells to wear enemies down with Static Field. Any opponent who tries to cast back in response gets punished by Silencer’s Arcane Curse, draining their health for using their abilities. This puts enemies in a bind during fights: either stand there and take Zeus’s damage, or cast spells and take the Arcane Curse damage on top of it. It creates a slow, attritional advantage rather than an explosive one.

Throughout the mid-game, this makes sustained teamfights really taxing for the enemy. Silencer and Zeus can poke from a safe distance, making it difficult to find a clean initiation. The double global ultimate is mostly a tool for cleaning up anyone who escapes a fight on low health, not a guaranteed fight-winner on its own. It's a pairing that makes the enemy's resource management harder, but it doesn't fundamentally break lanes or give you a free pass in teamfights. A coordinated jump on either hero can still shut the whole thing down.
