Wraith King + Spectre

Why this works

Fighting into this core duo gets overwhelming for the enemy team. Wraith King provides an incredibly durable frontline, forcing opponents to chew through his health pool and then his Reincarnation. This extended fight time is exactly what Spectre wants. She can use Haunt to pick off vulnerable backline heroes while the enemy is preoccupied with the king. If they turn to focus Spectre, they leave a resurrected Wraith King free to stun and attack them. His single-target lockdown from Wraithfire Blast also creates a perfect, stationary target for Spectre and her illusions to melt.

The game plan is straightforward. Wraith King can group up and apply pressure earlier, creating space across the map. This lets Spectre farm toward her key items with less risk. Once she's ready, the enemy is forced into an impossible choice during fights. They can either try to burn down Wraith King twice, giving Spectre free rein to dismantle their team, or they can attempt to chase the elusive Spectre, leaving their own supports exposed to a king who refuses to stay dead. This two-pronged threat scales exceptionally well.
