Slardar + Sniper

Why this works

Securing a kill on an isolated hero becomes much simpler. Slardar's job is to find a target, apply Corrosive Haze, and hold them in place with Slithereen Crush. The Haze not only reduces armor, making them melt faster, but it also gives vision so they can't escape into the trees. This creates a perfect window for Sniper to stand far behind the fight and unload damage into the vulnerable enemy. The combination is straightforward but effective at turning one hero's positional mistake into a trip back to the fountain.

This pattern helps set the game's tempo. A successful pickoff by Slardar can open up a tower for the taking or secure a Roshan attempt, which is made easier by the armor reduction. However, the plan relies on Slardar finding good initiations. If the enemy team plays grouped up or has tools to save a stunned ally, the window for Sniper to do damage shrinks considerably. The other main risk is enemies bypassing Slardar entirely to jump straight onto Sniper, as he's the real threat and much easier to kill.
