Sniper + Terrorblade

Why this works

Putting these two heroes on the same team can create a tempo problem from the start. Both Sniper and Terrorblade need a lot of space to hit their item timings, and they frequently compete for the same safe parts of the map to farm. Their damage profiles are also quite similar, focusing almost entirely on physical attacks. This allows opponents to itemize for armor efficiently, which can limit the impact of both heroes as the game goes on. The pair offers very little lockdown on its own, placing a heavy burden on your other heroes to provide all the control.

This lineup often feels passive through the mid-game, a window the enemy will likely use to group up and pressure objectives. Your success hinges on surviving this period before Terrorblade has his core items and Sniper is ready to siege. If you can successfully defend and make it to the late game, the combination can be effective. Terrorblade sending illusions to split-push while Sniper defends or pushes high ground from safety is a clear win condition. The main challenge is consistently getting to that point without falling too far behind.
