Spectre + Undying

Why this works

Haunting in on a team that's already dealing with a Tombstone is a recipe for a team wipe. The zombies create chaos and apply slows, making it impossible for enemies to kite Spectre's illusions or focus down a single target. This distraction lets Spectre easily find isolated heroes for Desolate procs. When Undying adds Flesh Golem to the mix, all the damage from Spectre and her illusions gets amplified, turning a messy fight into a decisive one. Even a few stacks of Decay on key targets soften them up enough for Spectre to secure quick kills.

This pairing smooths out Spectre's typically weak early game. Undying is a lane bully who can secure the farm his carry needs to get started. This pressure transitions into the mid-game, where Undying's powerful teamfight presence makes Spectre's Haunts incredibly effective, even before she has major items. The enemy team gets caught in a dilemma: they have to commit resources to handle Undying's constant aggression, but doing so gives Spectre the space she needs to farm and eventually take over the entire map.
