How Spectre and Ursa perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Spectre and Ursa win 50.14% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 8,612 matches.
Putting two greedy melee carries on the same team seems like a bad idea, but Ursa and Spectre can cover each other's timings. Ursa is a monster in the early and mid-game, able to secure Roshan and force map control on his own. All this pressure creates the exact space Spectre needs to farm safely and come online for the late game. When Spectre is ready, her Haunt provides global initiation, creating chaos and slowing a target. This is often all the setup Ursa needs to find and eliminate a key hero. While they don't offer each other stuns or saves, having global reach to set up a single-target burst hero works surprisingly well.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
