Spectre + Windranger

Why this works

Feeling safe anywhere on the map becomes difficult once Spectre gets her Haunt. She can appear on any isolated hero, and that’s the only setup Windranger needs to contribute from afar. A Haunt illusion provides a perfect anchor point for Shackleshot, often guaranteeing a long stun. With the target locked down, Windranger can melt them with Focus Fire while Spectre ensures they are isolated for Desolate damage. It’s a simple and effective global ganking threat that comes online reliably as the game progresses.

This constant pickoff threat forces the enemy team to play reactively and group up earlier than they’d like, which can slow down their own cores and cede map control. This gives Spectre the space she needs to hit her timings. Later on, Windranger’s role shifts to providing crucial control during the teamfights that Spectre starts. A key Shackleshot on a support or a Focus Fire to burst down a secondary threat while everyone is focused on Spectre can easily swing a fight in your favor.
