Void Spirit + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to set up a kill with this pair can feel a little awkward. Both heroes bring a lot of damage and mobility, but their methods of control don't combine very well. Void Spirit’s Aether Remnant pulls a target, which can be useful, but it’s a quick effect that doesn't guarantee a clean setup for Windranger's Shackleshot. Both heroes are often looking to be the one dealing the finishing burst, and they can sometimes find themselves competing for the same angle or target without directly enabling the other.

This dynamic means that in mid-game ganks and teamfights, they often play more as two individuals than a coordinated unit. They lack a single, reliable lockdown spell to start a fight on their terms. While Void Spirit can cause chaos and Windranger can pick off a target with Focus Fire, they rely on the enemy making a positioning mistake. An opponent can often split up or use defensive items before this duo can chain their spells together effectively, leaving them to hunt for separate opportunities rather than creating one decisive one.
