What's new in Season 10

Gorr the God Butcher (new Duelist): wields All-Black the Necrosword, converts defeated enemies into Black Berserkers, and his ultimate transforms the sword into the Annihilablade to command every active Berserker at once. He has no match data yet — his tier placement will appear on our tier list once enough Season 10 ranked matches are recorded.

Scarlet Witch rework: the official patch notes confirm a full ability and gameplay rework, including the new Scarlet Hex ability. She ended Season 9.5 at 48.02% win rate (#41 of 55 heroes) — the rework is the single biggest variable in the early Season 10 meta.

New map: God Quarry, a Domination-mode map, arrives September 24 alongside Galacta's Gift Vol. 3. Jeff-themed events (Dream Eater, Superstar Search) start September 18.

Strategist ultimate economy: the patch notes flag a shift in how the entire Strategist roster generates Ultimate Energy — a role-wide change worth watching across every support's win rate.

Competitive rank reset

Ranks drop six divisions — two full tiers — from your final Season 9.5 placement (they can't drop below Bronze III, the lowest rank). End-of-season rewards are based on the peak rank you reached, not where you finished.

Balance watchlist — where each hero stood when Season 9.5 ended

Patch notes tell you who changed; they don't tell you the baseline. These are the headline Season 10 balance targets with their final Season 9.5 numbers from 689,871 ranked matches in Batru's data warehouse (snapshot 2026-09-10) — frozen here so you can measure the patch's real effect once Season 10 data lands. The pattern is coherent: the nerfs target the top of the win-rate table, the buffs target heroes sitting just under 50%.

Change directions reflect the official Season 10 patch notes where stated (Scarlet Witch, Black Cat, Wolverine) and cross-checked patch-note coverage for the rest; "adjusted" means the notes changed the hero without a clean buff/nerf direction. Baselines are Batru's measured Season 9.5 data, not estimates.

When will Season 10 data be ready?

Batru's numbers come from recorded ranked matches, so Season 10 stats accumulate from the moment servers come back. We don't publish day-one tier claims from thin samples — each page below switches to Season 10 data automatically once its sample clears our quality gate, and shows clearly-labeled final Season 9.5 data until then.

Season 10 FAQ

When does Marvel Rivals Season 10 start?

September 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM UTC (2:00 AM PT / 5:00 AM ET / 10:00 AM BST / 6:00 PM JST), with an estimated two-hour maintenance window before servers return.

Who is the new hero in Season 10?

Gorr the God Butcher, a Duelist. He wields All-Black the Necrosword, raises defeated enemies as Black Berserkers, and his ultimate — the Annihilablade — commands all active Berserkers in a coordinated assault.

How does the Season 10 rank reset work?

Every player drops six divisions (two full tiers) from their final Season 9.5 rank: a Diamond III finish starts Season 10 at Gold III, Grandmaster III at Platinum III. Ranks can't drop below Bronze III, and end-of-season rewards follow your peak rank, not your final one.

What are the biggest balance changes in Season 10?

Scarlet Witch is fully reworked (she ended Season 9.5 at a 48.02% win rate), Black Cat — Season 9.5's most banned hero at 66.9% — is adjusted, and the patch nerfs top-of-table heroes like Mantis (60.05%, #1 by win rate) and The Hood while buffing sub-50% heroes like Wolverine, Emma Frost, Star-Lord and Loki. Strategist ultimate energy generation also changes role-wide.

When will the Season 10 tier list be available?

Batru's tier list, counters and ban rates are computed from recorded ranked matches and update automatically as Season 10 games accumulate. Until a hero's sample clears the quality gate, pages show final Season 9.5 data with the season clearly labeled — no day-one tier claims from thin samples.
