Celeste — Deadlock Win Rate, Counters & Synergies

Celeste in Deadlock: win rate, pick rate, top counters and best teammates, from Batru's recent-match pipeline.

Celeste counters & matchups

Squishier laners like Sinclair, Mina, and Silver hate trading against Celeste because she punishes anyone who has to commit to close range or windup their damage, and she can peel out of a bad trade before it lands. The trouble comes against Seven, Victor, and Graves, who bring the kind of sustained burst and pickoff pressure that catches Celeste mid-rotation and doesn't let her reset. Once she's forced into a straight brawl with those heroes, she folds. Draft tip: pick her into fragile short-range lineups, avoid her when the enemy has hard burst that ignores her escape.

Celeste synergies

She wants a durable frontline partner who forces the fight to happen on her terms, and Seven fits that mold. Seven's area pressure pins enemies in a spot where Celeste can whittle them down and pick off anyone who breaks off to escape. What she brings back is the ability to isolate and finish the target Seven has trapped, so kills actually close instead of enemies limping away. Pair her with someone who creates the commitment and she cleans up the aftermath.
