Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Sven wins the Abaddon vs Sven matchup: Sven beats Abaddon in 52.10% of 15,906 ranked matches.
Saving an ally from Sven's Storm Hammer is exactly what Abaddon is for. Aphotic Shield provides a crucial dispel that can ruin Sven's initial jump on a target. The problem is that Sven’s power isn't only in that stun. With God's Strength active, he outputs enough raw physical damage to break the shield almost instantly and kill the target anyway. More importantly, his Great Cleave will be hitting everyone nearby regardless of who has the shield. Abaddon can save himself with Borrowed Time and keep one ally alive for a few more seconds, but he can't stop a farmed Sven from tearing through the rest of the team once a fight breaks out.
