Abaddon Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Abaddon in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Abaddon, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Abaddon is a durable support/core whose Aphotic Shield blocks and dispels, Mist Coil heals or harms, and Borrowed Time turns lethal damage into healing. He grinds down immobile heroes who can't burst through his sustain: Timbersaw, Tinker and Mars lose the war of attrition. Abaddon is countered by heroes that out-trade his healing or punish his melee range: Dawnbreaker out-trades him, Ancient Apparition's Ice Blast shuts his healing off outright, Outworld Destroyer burns the mana his kit runs on, and Meepo overwhelms. Draft tip: Abaddon is a fantastic save/tank into burst-heavy drafts; he's weaker into heal-cutting (Ice Blast) and mana-burn line-ups.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Abaddon hardest are Outworld Destroyer, Wraith King and Ancient Apparition — Abaddon wins only 45.9%, 47.2% and 47.5% of ranked matches against them.
