Abaddon vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst a target with Tiny's Avalanche-Toss combo is core to his game plan, but Abaddon makes this incredibly frustrating. The damage from Aphotic Shield often negates a huge chunk of the burst, but the real problem for Tiny is the strong dispel. It removes the stun, allowing the target to walk away or retaliate immediately. If Abaddon is the one being focused, a well-timed Borrowed Time turns all of Tiny's damage into healing, completely wasting his long cooldowns and massive mana investment.

This core interaction lets Abaddon's team play much more boldly. They can farm aggressively and group for objectives, knowing that Tiny's primary form of initiation is nullified. Tiny is then forced into a difficult position: either try to find a target far away from Abaddon, which splits his team and cedes map control, or wait for the perfect moment when Abaddon's spells are on cooldown. The pressure is on Tiny to find a small window, while Abaddon can win by simply staying near his allies.
