Ancient Apparition vs Spirit Breaker

How this matchup plays

Getting charged from across the map is a nightmare for a hero with no escape. Spirit Breaker's whole game plan revolves around finding and eliminating vulnerable backliners, and Ancient Apparition is a prime target. Once the Charge of Darkness begins, there is very little AA can do to survive on his own. His slow cast times and lack of mobility mean he's often dead before he can contribute. The matchup isn't completely one-sided, though. A well-placed Ice Blast can be devastating for Spirit Breaker, completely shutting down any healing and making him surprisingly fragile. Still, the constant threat of a global gank usually keeps Ancient Apparition on the back foot.
