Ancient Apparition (AA) Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Ancient Apparition (AA) in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Ancient Apparition, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Ancient Apparition is a global caster whose Ice Blast caps healing and executes low-HP heroes from across the map, backed by Cold Feet and Chilling Touch. He hard-counters regen-reliant heroes — Huskar, whose entire kit is healing, simply dies to Ice Blast's anti-heal. He also beats immobile casters like Timbersaw and Gyrocopter. AA is countered by illusions and scalers his single nuke can't handle: Spectre, Phantom Lancer and Wraith King out-body or out-tank him. Draft tip: AA is a premium anti-heal pick into sustain/regen drafts (Huskar, Necro, lifesteal); he's weaker into illusion and hard-carry comps.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Ancient Apparition hardest are Wraith King, Phantom Lancer and Outworld Destroyer — Ancient Apparition wins only 44.8%, 45.2% and 45.9% of ranked matches against them.
