Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Visage wins the Ancient Apparition vs Visage matchup: Visage beats Ancient Apparition in 52.71% of 5,069 ranked matches.
Trying to lock Visage down with Cold Feet is unreliable, as he can order a familiar to attack him and break the stun before it lands. This frees Visage up to hunt for kills. Ancient Apparition is a prime target, being slow and fragile enough for Visage and his birds to burst down quickly from the start of a fight. While a well-placed Ice Blast is always a threat to an entire team, it's less of a direct counter to Visage himself. His survivability comes more from the damage reduction of Gravekeeper's Cloak than from in-combat healing, allowing him to often withstand the initial burst and turn the fight.
