Anti-Mage vs Dark Willow

How this matchup plays

Getting caught alone by Anti-Mage feels hopeless for Dark Willow. He can drain her entire mana pool before she can cast a spell, making her an easy target for Mana Void. Even if she survives the initial onslaught, she's left without the resources to contribute. However, Anti-Mage has to respect her lockdown. A well-timed Cursed Crown or Bramble Maze can trap him long enough for her team to collapse and kill him, as his Counterspell can only block one of her disabling spells.

This creates a tense standoff across the game. Early on, Dark Willow can be a real nuisance, but she has to be careful about overextending once Anti-Mage gets Blink. Later, it becomes a game of vision control. Dark Willow wants to stick with her team, using Terrorize as a defensive tool to reset a fight if Anti-Mage commits. Meanwhile, Anti-Mage looks for opportunities to split-push and catch her moving between lanes. The duel often goes to whoever has better information and gets the jump first.
