Anti-Mage (AM) Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Anti-Mage (AM) in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Anti-Mage, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Anti-Mage is a farm-hungry carry who blinks around the map and burns enemy mana with Mana Break. He punishes mana-reliant cores hardest — his best matchups are heroes whose power lives in their mana pool, like Medusa, Tinker and Nature's Prophet, which Mana Void and Mana Break drain and punish. Where Anti-Mage falls apart is into early lockdown and pure-damage tanks: Meepo's clones swarm him, Axe's Berserker's Call ignores Blink, and Bloodseeker hunts him down — all stop his snowball before he comes online. Draft tip: pick Anti-Mage into greedy magic-damage line-ups; avoid him into Axe, Meepo, or any early-game gank squad that can end the game before he is farmed.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Anti-Mage hardest are Meepo, Legion Commander and Troll Warlord — Anti-Mage wins only 41.8%, 44.9% and 45.1% of ranked matches against them.
