Anti-Mage vs Naga Siren

How this matchup plays

Thinking Anti-Mage naturally beats Naga Siren because of Mana Break is a common trap. While his attacks do burn mana from her illusions, Naga creates them so frequently that he struggles to clear them efficiently before she summons a new wave. He's often bogged down dealing with the copies while the real Naga Siren farms safely elsewhere. Furthermore, Naga's illusions apply Rip Tide, shredding his armor and making trades surprisingly dangerous for him. Anti-Mage has to rely on a well-timed Counterspell to avoid Ensnare, but Naga can often bait the spell or simply overwhelm him with map pressure.

The game evolves into a pure farm race. Both heroes want to avoid each other and secure their core items to accelerate. Anti-Mage aims to split-push and draw pressure, while Naga Siren uses her own illusions to do the same, effectively creating a standoff on the map. Song of the Siren gives her a huge advantage in controlling engagements, either setting up a gank on Anti-Mage or saving her team if he blinks in for a kill. The winner is usually the one whose team creates more space, allowing their carry to hit critical item timings first and dictate the pace of the mid-to-late game.
