Bane vs Elder Titan

How this matchup plays

Thinking of Elder Titan's sleep as a setup for Bane is often a mistake when they're on opposite teams. A more common scenario is Bane channeling Fiend's Grip on a key target, only for Elder Titan to send his Astral Spirit out and cast Echo Stomp to break the channel from a safe distance. This forces Bane to play cautiously, as his most impactful spell can be easily canceled. While Bane can certainly disable Elder Titan with Nightmare to prevent him from casting his own combos, the threat of cancellation is always there. Natural Order also makes Bane quite fragile, so getting caught by an Earth Splitter is usually a death sentence. It becomes a duel of who can disable the other first.
