Bane vs Legion Commander

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can stop Legion Commander with Fiend's Grip is a common trap. While it's possible, Legion Commander often has the upper hand in the direct confrontation. Her Press the Attack can remove Nightmare, disrupting Bane's setup. The real issue, however, is that Bane is one of her preferred targets. He's fragile, lacks mobility, and can't channel his ultimate while being Dueled. For Legion Commander, initiating on Bane is a straightforward way to secure a kill and permanent damage, turning one of the enemy's key lockdown heroes into a liability.

This puts immense pressure on Bane's positioning as soon as Legion Commander finds her Blink Dagger. Before that, Bane can be a significant lane nuisance, but the mid-game revolves around him trying not to get caught. He needs to stay far behind his cores, using fog and vision to his advantage.
