Beastmaster vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Pushing down a lane with his army is Beastmaster's whole game plan, and Razor has the perfect tools to stop it. Razor can often ignore the summons and go straight for Beastmaster with Static Link. Once the link is on, Beastmaster is forced to either run away or become completely ineffective, as his damage is drained and turned against him. This neutralizes not only his own attacks but also the impact of his army, which relies on him being in the fight. While that's happening, Razor’s Plasma Field can make quick work of the boars and any other units, completely shutting down the push.

Across the game, this dynamic forces Beastmaster to play cautiously. He can’t just group up his units and run at a tower if Razor is there to defend. Beastmaster has to wait for his team to initiate on Razor or find a pick-off with Primal Roar on a different hero. For Razor, the job is simple: stay alive and be ready to apply Static Link whenever Beastmaster tries to take an objective. This constant threat slows down Beastmaster's tempo and gives Razor's team breathing room to farm and react, giving them a small but consistent advantage in map control.
