Broodmother vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Clearing out a screen full of Spiderlings is what Zeus was built to do. His chain-casting spells can quickly melt Broodmother's army, slowing down her pushes and making it difficult for her to control the map. This forces Broodmother to play a more patient game, as she can't easily overwhelm lanes or towers with a massive spider-ball. However, Broodmother herself often builds to resist magic damage, and her high mobility inside her webs makes her a difficult target for Zeus to finish off from a distance.

The matchup often comes down to positioning and timing. Zeus can stall Broodmother's objectives indefinitely, as long as he stays far away and has mana. But he has no escape if she manages to get on top of him. For Broodmother, the goal becomes hunting Zeus directly, bypassing his army-clearing strength by simply killing the hero. A successful gank on Zeus can open up the map, while a failed one can leave her exposed. It becomes a game of cat and mouse where neither hero has a decisive, built-in advantage.
