Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Witch Doctor wins the Centaur Warrunner vs Witch Doctor matchup: Witch Doctor beats Centaur Warrunner in 55.03% of 46,129 ranked matches.
Picking a tanky frontliner against a Witch Doctor is a draft decision that can backfire badly. Centaur Warrunner wants to build a massive health pool and be an unkillable raid boss for his team, but this game plan plays directly into what Witch Doctor wants to see. A well-placed Maledict turns Centaur's primary strength into a huge weakness, causing his health to evaporate from any follow-up damage. Because Centaur needs to be in the middle of the fight to be effective, he also becomes a prime target for Death Ward. He simply has no reliable way to stop the channel from a distance after he has committed to an initiation.
