Witch Doctor's Maledict rewards any setup that keeps enemies low and locked, and his Death Ward needs the enemy held in place. He pairs best with AoE control and front-line lock: Spectre and Wraith King hold the line while WD channels, and Meepo or Phantom Lancer clump and pressure the enemy into his Maledict radius. Riki ambushes the targets he wounds. Give WD a team that locks enemies down and his burst is some of the highest in the game.
