Clinkz vs Invoker

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other is a true commitment to a skill matchup. The entire fight between them hinges on whether Clinkz can kill Invoker before he can cast a single spell. Clinkz brings extreme physical burst with Burning Barrage, enough to melt Invoker from full health if he's caught unprepared. However, Invoker has a whole arsenal of ways to stop it. A pre-emptive Tornado, a well-timed Deafening Blast to disarm, or even just Cold Snap can completely shut down the gank and turn the tables on the fragile Clinkz.

This dynamic creates a constant game of cat and mouse. Clinkz wants to find Invoker isolated and moving between lanes, ideally with a silence to prevent any response. Invoker, on the other hand, plays around vision and his own cooldowns, knowing he can win the fight if he gets even a split second to react. An early Ghost Scepter for Invoker can neutralize the threat almost entirely, forcing Clinkz to find other targets. The fight is a coin flip based on who gets the jump on whom, and which player uses their key spells or items more effectively.
