Clinkz vs Magnus

How this matchup plays

Playing as Magnus against a Clinkz often means struggling to find a clean initiation. The whole game for Magnus revolves around landing a big Reverse Polarity on key targets, but Clinkz naturally avoids grouping up. He spends most of his time invisible, looking for solo pickoffs on the edges of the map. This forces the Magnus team to invest heavily in detection, and even with good vision, Clinkz's speed makes him a slippery target for a Blink-in or Skewer play. Clinkz also poses a direct threat to Magnus himself if he gets caught out of position while trying to set up a play.

This dynamic lets Clinkz dictate the tempo through the mid-game. By split-pushing and creating pressure, he makes it difficult for Magnus's team to group up for the teamfights they want. The game becomes about baiting Clinkz to overextend or using smoke and sentries to secure a gank on him. A successful Reverse Polarity will still delete Clinkz, so the fight is far from impossible. The burden, however, tends to fall on Magnus to force the issue, while Clinkz is content to chip away at the map until he has a decisive opening.
