How this matchup plays

Picking Tusk into Clinkz seems like a direct answer, but the reality is more complicated. Tusk has the tools to deal with a slippery hero: Ice Shards for containment and Snowball to close the gap or save an ally. The issue is that Clinkz, with his invisibility and high movement speed, can often dictate the engagement. If Tusk fails to predict Clinkz's position for his initiation, he’s left vulnerable and is often an easy target for a full Burning Barrage. The fight is less about a hard counter and more about which hero gets the jump on the other.

As the game progresses, this tension defines their interactions. Tusk's job is to force fights with his team, using detection to enable a stun from Snowball or Walrus Punch.
